My head hurt like never before. I groaned as I tried to open my eyes.
What the hell happened? Why did my head hurt so bad?
“Oh, my beautiful girl,” someone mumbled and I felt him kiss my cheek.
My heart raced and I wanted to smile.
“Nate?” I somehow managed to mumble.
He was silent and I furrowed my eyebrows a little. I tried to turn my head and open my eyes so I could see him, but it felt like my eyes were glued shut.
