Nathaniel’s POV
“When did that happen?!” Blake exclaimed angrily, placing his fork on the table. “Why didn’t you tell us?!”
“It happened a few days ago,” I said, taking a sip of wine. “We didn’t tell you because we didn’t want to do it over the phone.”
Blake narrowed his eyes and looked from me to Haley.
“What did she want?” Alice asked, looking at Haley with a worried expression on her face.
“That doesn’t matter,” Blake said angrily, keeping his eyes on me. “Why did you let her in? You did so f*****g much to keep Haley safe and then you just let that b***h in your home where she could have hurt her!”
I took a deep breath and placed the glass on the table.
“I agree,” I said calmly. “I didn’t want her to come here. I was against it.”
Blake furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Haley.
