Haley’s POV I felt Nate wrap his arms around my waist and I flinched a little. I didn’t even hear him walking toward me. “Sorry, Bug,” Nate mumbled, chuckling a little. “Didn’t you hear me coming?” I put the spatula down and turned my head to look at him. I smiled and shook my head a little. “I was focused on making breakfast,” I said, making Nate smile at me. “Well, your pancake is burning a bit,” he said, making me look at the pan abruptly. I grabbed the spatula and turned the pancake over. It was a bit burnt, but it wasn’t that bad. “I am a complete distraction, aren’t I?” he chuckled as he placed a soft kiss on my neck.
