Me and Josh made our way back to the village as quickly as we could, we both ran in silence.
Once we got back to the village we decided to stop by my home real quick to pick up a spare set of my clothes so Addi could change, it was easier then trying to explain to Addi's parents why we needed a set of her clothes, plus it is not the first time we shared clothes with each other.
We walked into the house and saw my mom silently sitting at the table with the meal we had prepared together, everything was untouched as if she had been just sitting there waiting.
And then it hit me, I had been gone for a few hours and had only told my mom I would be back quickly, I instantly felt bad.
