I nearly jumped out of bed when I heard what my dad said to me, Amy is missing? Her mom, a strong bobcat being rushed to the hospital with a neck wound? I need to find Amy!
But strong hands held my shoulders in place, I look up at the person holding me back, it is my dad.
“You have to calm down Addi, rushing off while still recovering yourself is not going to help anything.” He sternly spoke to me, “Recover first, I am pretty sure the Elders will send out some trackers to see if they can track down where she is,” he looks at Elder Shen who has been sitting there quietly this whole time, “right?” my father finishes talking.
