I sat at the entrance to the cave, thunder rumbled in the distance as I stared out, I was so angry at myself. Every time I could feel my masters order to obey inside me I would try to do as he commanded, to kill Addi. But every time I went to do it something inside me would burn and stop me. I couldn’t understand it and it was so frustrating. So I have kept her alive for some reason, I at first decided if I couldn’t straight kill her I would let her starve, but then I would find myself bringing her food every time.
I even left my lantern for her so she wouldn’t be in the dark as much.
My own actions were infuriatingly annoying. If I could just kill her and bring her body to master I could gain my freedom and he would release his hold on me.
