The moment Roy opened his eyes, his nose was filled with the sweet scent of his beautiful mate. He felt a weight on his chest and around his waist, but didn t bother moving so as not to wake her up. He gently stroked her hair, letting her strawberry scent please him.
"Rather than thank you for saving my life, I yelled at you. I m… I'm sorry." Kimberly murmured, making Roy stop what he was doing.
How didn t he notice that she was already awake? That wasn t even what surprised him. The fact that Kimberly was apologizing was what shocked him. To say he was speechless was an understatement, he was stunned.
