Today was a special day, it wasn't just like the other days. Today's morning was new, it wasn't like the mornings of around the last two years.....
Though her day started with the sight of Chris, with adoring him for the cute li'l baby he is, with looking into his blue eyes and of course, with memories of Alex flooding back to her mind again, but still,
Today's agenda was different,
Today she had decided that she'll no more be wandering around the streets in his search...
Today she will forget all her sour memories of the past...
Now she'll only cherish the days she'd spent with him...
Now she'll only concentrate on her future and on her one year old Chris... (the only reason who had kept her sane for all this time, if it wasn't for him, god knows in what condition Amanda would have been today..)
She started her day normally with getting Chris ready, feeding him with his all time favourite Cerlac but, Today the difference was in how she had chosen to look, to present herself to the world....

Amanda, wearing a sleek grey pencil skirt which she elegantly carried with a simple white blouse, was waiting in the reception area to be called for interview... Filled with nervousness she was sitting on the bench thinking of her first and only job interview which was in Alex's company, when she suddenly got startled by a tap on her shoulder, "Ms. Wills?"
"Yes, it's me, You must be Ms. Vermont"
"No, but I am here to escort you to her, she'll be the one who's gonna interview you for the position of Mr. Evans' Personal Assistant" Amanda was completely shocked as she had no idea that she may become the PA to Luke Evans, one of the hot shot bachelors in the town who was well known for having build his own name in the industry just as her Alex...

Ms. Vermont was truely impressed by her and asked her to join from the very next day....

"Yes yes I did, yes I did get the job" she said cutting her in full excitement...
She picked Chris from Drizella's place and all of them went to celebrate.
Though it was a great day for Amanda but it was an even better one for Drizella who hadn't seen her friend happy in these two long years....
