One Night

The five knights couldn't find Lee anywhere. They decided to return home. But an even scarier thing happened. Daniel wasn't there.

"Where is Prince?" Zayn panicked.

"Look, the cell phone is left behind." Virgo immediately opened Daniel's cellphone and found a history of incoming calls from Bryan. Judging from the clock the call came in right after the five knights left. Therefore Virgo immediately contacted Bryan. However, this number cannot be reached.

"s**t! What's this," Virgo fidgeted. The hunch was bad for a moment.

"How? Can you contact Bryan?" asked Mark.

Virgo shook his head. "Bryan's number is unreachable. And he was the only one who called Prince Daniel last time."

Alice was in excruciating pain. She felt her whole body in pain, and as the crystal fell, Alice fell to the floor with a bang.

Catherine did not squander the opportunity. She immediately swallowed the black crystal to enter into her body.

"You won't die. The stab wound has closed. But you don't have the strength anymore," Catherine said with a laugh.

"Why are you doing this?" Alice asked in a weak voice.

"I want to control everything. Don't worry, you won't die. You'll just suffer between life and death forever," said Catherine.

Alice felt her life was ruined. This was the first time she had felt such deep loss, grief and pain. She wanted to fight Catherine but her strength was gone. She never expected to have raised a demon near him. The girl she saved and gave strength to had stabbed him in the back just as she was feeling heartbroken.

"Don't look at me like that. It's time for the young to take over. You've lived a life full of this power long enough. But you didn't do anything great in my eyes. I'm disappointed. And finally my heart feels called to use this crystal properly," said Catherine. She raised her hand and moved Alice to a distant place that she had prepared and only she knew.

"No one will ever know where that woman is. Alice is gone, now it's just me," Catherine said with a laugh.

In the palace of the red dragon clan or Daniel's house some mysterious guards move into Alex and Ben's room. They were both given a potion that weakened their strength. The two are dragged into the same dungeon where Daniel is.

Daniel moves. He woke up when several vampires came out of the basement.

"Daniel, you're awake," said Lee.

Daniel heard Lee's voice slowly. He blinked his eyes. The darkness of the dungeon made it difficult for him to see his surroundings. But over time his eyes began to adjust and he could see around more clearly than before.

"Daniel, are you awake?" asked Lee again.

"Lee..." Daniel's voice trailed off. He tried to move, but his hands and feet were bound by chains.

"Where are we?" asked Daniel.

"In your own house," answered a familiar voice.

"Alex!?!" Daniel was surprised. "Why are you here too?" asked Daniel in surprise.

"This may be karma for us for betraying our own Prince. In the end we were betrayed too," Ben replied in a sad tone full of regret.

"Ben!??" Daniel was surprised.

Suddenly Lee laughed. "As expected. There is no place for a traitor. Except for the master himself," said Lee.

Daniel sighed. He was silent. Then he remembered something.

"Alex, you said this is my house?" asked Daniel.

"That's right, this house is a modern castle that retains the same shape. However some renovations were also carried out while maintaining its original form, including this dungeon. You designed it yourself so that anyone in this room wouldn't be able to use their vampire powers to escape, " replied Alex.

Daniel was silent. No wonder he felt familiar with the place. It turned out to be his house. If Alex and Ben are arrested it means that all that's left is Alberto. What exactly is the plan?

Daniel fell silent again. He focused on looking around the room and trying to find something. Like a secret exit.
