Everyone is busy with their own work. Daniel pretended to be in his room then locked it from the inside. After that he jumped from the window and fell beside the house. Daniel walked towards the big tree. He caught the shadow of someone there. Daniel was pretty sure it was Alice.

"Is that you, Alice?" asked Daniel.

"Yes." Alice appeared while showing her charming smile.

Daniel's heart skipped a beat. Admit it or not the girl always makes him flutter. Although in general, Alice was not a gentle woman. It was precisely Alice's aggressiveness that the calm Daniel was always shaken.

"Why are you frozen?" said Alice.

"I just..." Before Daniel could answer, Alice pulled his hand away.

"You've been staring at me long enough. It's getting dark. Go home, it's not safe for a woman to be in the forest at night," said Daniel.

Alice smiled. She wrapped her arms around Daniel's shoulders.

"Why don't you get mad when I get this close? I see you always keep your distance from the women in your house," Rachel said.

Daniel confirmed Alice's words. He didn't know why if Rachel or any other woman wanted to be close to him, Daniel always felt uncomfortable and refused. But if Alice did, Daniel expected more. Want to be closer, closer and closer.

"I also want to know why? Do you have an answer?" asked Daniel.

"How about we find out together," said Alice. She kissed Daniel's lips briefly, then walked away deeper into the forest.

While Daniel watched Alice leave with a pounding feeling. Alice always does things he doesn't expect. It does more than just closeness. But strangely Daniel was not angry and enjoyed whatever Alice did to him.

Daniel rubbed his lips. He smiled to himself. Then Daniel immediately returned to his room. He used the prepared bamboo ladder to climb into the house through the window.

Daniel realized he had done something he shouldn't have done. He seemed to be doing something forbidden and did not want anyone to know.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Luckily Daniel was already in the room. He immediately opened the door and saw who was standing in front of his room.

"Tommy, what's wrong?" asked Daniel.

"May I come in? There's something I want to talk to you about," Tommy said.

Daniel hesitated a bit as he looked outside for a moment.

"Lee, Jo and Rachel went to the village. They left because they thought you were sleeping."

Daniel sighed. He had just heard the sound of a car driving away. But if Tommy also thought he was sleeping, why did Tommy wake him up? Daniel didn't understand. He saw an envelope in Tommy's hand. He seemed to have something serious to talk about.

"Don't worry. I'm a police officer. So there's no way I could do anything dangerous," said Tommy.

"No one can be trusted completely from a human. Even against humans who can be trusted though, we must be vigilant," said Daniel.

Tommy couldn't seem to get into Daniel's room. He immediately changed strategy.

"Okay. How about we talk outside. Everyone's not around." Tommy immediately stepped away from the bedroom door and sat down on the wooden floor.

Daniel immediately closed the bedroom door, then sat in front of Tommy. He looked at Tommy with a questioning look. It seemed that Tommy had been deliberately waiting for everyone to leave just to talk to him.

"Actually I was very surprised to meet you. You are very similar to people I know. Too similar. Very similar," said Tommy.

Daniel didn't react. This wasn't the first time he'd been mistaken for someone. Marsha had thought so too.

"Who's he?" asked Daniel.

"His name is also the same as yours. He is Daniel Xavier. The owner of a well-known company here. He used to have a sister named Jane. But then he was killed by his own sister. His head was broken and his heart was stabbed by a sword," said Tommy.
