There was a loud bang on Daniel's door.

"He I'm awake," Daniel got up lazily as he opened the door.

"Dad, I'll be down soon, I guarantee all our things will be okay," said Daniel. But it turned out that his mother appeared.

"We haven't been moving for a while," Alice said sadly.

Daniel frowned. He looked at his mother in confusion.

"Lee, passed away."

"What?" Daniel was very surprised. He ran downstairs confused. He saw many people gathered in the courtyard. Even the police were there too.

Daniel made his way through the crowd. He saw his grandfather dead with his hands tied, his neck hurt a little. There were only two wounds with a certain distance like a bite.

"Father, what happened?" Daniel asked Jo who was sitting limply.

"I don't know. If you look at the wound on his neck, it looks like an animal bite. But why are his hands tied? There are some bruises from a fight on his body too."

"What!?!" Daniel was very surprised. Despite his age, Lee is very good at martial arts. Since childhood he taught Daniel various moves from several types of martial arts. If there is someone who is able to beat Lee, it means that person is not a random person. But who? Lee and his entire family never had enemies.

"Who did this?" asked Daniel.

"I don't know either. The police will investigate," said Jo.

"Is this your son?" a cop asked Jo.

"Right. May I interview your son?"

"Please," said Jo.

"Hello. I'm Tommy, your grandfather died last night at 9pm. Where were you then?" asked Tommy.

"I'm sleeping. Dad knows I'm sleeping," said Daniel.

"When did you wake up?" asked Tommy again.

"Just now. I came straight here," said Daniel. Tommy recorded all his statements. Then he thanked Daniel and asked his men to bring Lee's body for an autopsy.

Daniel could only stare at Lee's body from afar. It's very sad. Lee is a good great-grandfather. Daniel prefers to call him grandpa. Because even though Lee was over a hundred years old, his face and body still looked like he was in his sixties.

The ambulance and police car leave Daniel's house. Residents also returned to their respective homes. Daniel, Jo and Alice sat in the living room. Jo was the one who lost the most. His face was very gloomy and sadness was evident in his eyes.

"Wasn't when I went up to the room Lee was still with you?" asked Daniel.

"Right. We continued the conversation until your father brought up the topic," Alice replied.

"That topic?" asked Daniel cluelessly.

"Never mind Alice. Don't mention that again. Daniel doesn't need to know." Jo objected to Alice's words.

"That's up to you," Alice said and left. Jo couldn't help but sigh. He asked Daniel to take a bath and help him prepare the funeral home.

Daniel immediately rushed over. He entered his room with a confused mind. He undressed to take a shower. But how surprised he was to see red marks on some parts of his body. Seems like a lot of mosquitoes in the room. Daniel must provide mosquito repellent.

Daniel immediately took a shower and put on decent clothes. He helped his mother prepare for Lee's funeral. The body came two days later after an autopsy. Lee's funeral was placed in a public cemetery. The mourning period lasted ten days. Daniel and Jo didn't talk much after Lee's death. They both seemed to be hiding something from Daniel.

That afternoon Daniel took a walk with his board. As usual he passed the haunted house. He paused for a moment and recalled the events of the past few days. When a girl kissed him in the bush. But Lee's death near the house made Daniel think twice about visiting. After all, his father had given him a warning, Lee's killer was still on the loose. Daniel was forbidden to enter the house. When Daniel was about to leave a paper airplane passed in front of him and fell at his feet. Daniel took the paper because he saw an inscription on the wing. It turned out to be a cell phone number. Daniel looked up to find where the paper plane had come from. When he looked towards the haunted house. The beautiful girl waved while bending her three fingers leaving the thumb and little finger a sign for Daniel to contact her. Daniel tucked the paper airplane into his trouser pocket and left. He didn't want to worry Jo by seeing him wandering the haunted house.

The situation in the village since Lee's death has changed. Many rumors about ghosts that kill spread. Residents do not dare to leave their homes after the afternoon until the early morning. Daniel was also not allowed to play for long. He immediately went home because he was bored and chose to stay in his room.

Daniel took the paper plane and saved the number in his cell phone. Daniel sent a message just to say hello. He also had a lot of questions for the girl especially about Lee's death. Who knows the girl saw Lee's killer. At least Lee died near his house. The police who searched the house found no one there. But the girl was there.

'Hi'. Daniel sent a message. He immediately got the same reply.

'What are you doing?' Ask Daniel. It was impossible if he directly asked about Lee's death. Sounds rude if Daniel did it.

'Thinking of you and missing you too.'

Daniel stared at the girl's response. He immediately remembered the moment she kissed his lips. It seemed that the beautiful girl had fallen in love with him.

"Hi. I'm Jennifer. Call me Jennie," said a voice that sounded soft in Daniel's ear.

"It's a beautiful name," said Daniel. His chest was pounding. He felt a strange sensation that was the first time he had felt.

"You haven't been seen in a long time in front of my house," said Jennie.

"About that. Because my grandfather died there." Finally the opportunity to talk about Lee's death came.

"I'm sorry. You must be very sad."

"Right." Daniel answered. "No one knows who did it. There were no eye witnesses and neither were there. Do you know anything?" asked Daniel.

There is no answer. But the connection is still connected.

"That night. Until two days ago I was not at home. We were out of town. If only I could help," said Jennie.

"It's okay. I thought you were there. Daniel was disappointed. Turns out the girl didn't know anything.

"You're so sad. If only I could cheer you up..."

Jenny shook her head. "I learn from books, television, media and cell phones."

"No problem. I've seen a movie where a man and a woman enjoy time together. I was curious how it felt. So I kissed you at that time," said Jennie. "It was my first time. How about you?"

Daniel is nervous. He was shy but couldn't lie. "I also." Daniel answered innocently.

Daniel nodded.

"I guess I was right. You are a fine young man." Jenny hugged Daniel. The two of them stared at each other.
