Daniel helps Lee and Jo look for medicinal plants in the Forest. They walked without making a fuss. Daniel, who didn't really understand the situation in the forest, just followed Lee's instructions.

The forest is very quiet. The atmosphere was tense. Several days the issue of the cruelty of the vampires and werewolves is getting more and more disturbing. But Lee couldn't wait for the situation to subside to get the medicinal ingredients. Some residents are sick. They need medicine. Armed with courage and limited food, Lee takes Daniel to the forest. But he also had to bring Jo. Worrying that Jo alone would put him in danger.

Daniel is just an ordinary man. He has no drug skills, but what makes Lee like him is that Daniel is very intelligent. By studying for a while Daniel was able to remember everything. The three immediately got up and continued their journey while carrying baskets of medicinal plants on their backs.

"Don't forget later, when passing the market. Remind me to buy clothes for you, Daniel," said Lee.

"No need, Grandpa. The money will run out." Daniel worries that if Lee keeps buying clothes for him, their savings will run out.

"You don't have to worry, we still have a lot of savings. We can't bear to let you only wear two clothes in one week." Lee really felt bad to see Daniel keep changing clothes and the next day wearing clothes that had been washed again.

"Grandpa's taste is pretty good. Even though it's used, the fabric and the model are very good," said Daniel.

"Take your pick. We have three pairs of clothes in good fabrics and in good designs. Look!" The clothing merchant showed two other pairs of clothes.

"Good. How much?" Lee asked.

The dealer said the price was quite fantastic. Daniel immediately objected to buying the clothes.

"No, Grandpa. It's too expensive. It doesn't fit our finances," said Daniel.

"Yes, Sis. You must be very cool wearing that dress. I'm still thinking how the three clothes fit you so well. Did you guys make an appointment," said Jo.

Daniel smiled and rubbed Jo's head.

Daniel frowned, he thought that life in the village was not touched by technology but his prediction was wrong.

"Was there electricity, television, smart phones and such before?" asked Daniel.

"Of course there is. I have an Android phone. I used to study and play with it a lot but since the electricity was broken, the signal tower was torn down and the bridge connecting this village to the city was destroyed, the village is isolated. I can't even go to school. it's so deep and high up there," Jo was very sad.

Daniel crouched down. He looked at Daniel and hugged him.

"What grade are you in? How about we study at home." Daniel tries to shake Jo's sadness away.

"I'm in 5th grade of elementary school." Jo wiped the tears that almost fell.

"Good. I can teach you at home," said Daniel.

Jo jumped for joy. Daniel smiled widely. The three of them walked into the darkness for about a mile and then reached the house.

"Are you tired?" Lee asked.

"No. It's fun," said Daniel. "But who would want to destroy the road access to the city and paralyze all access to this village?" asked Daniel.

"Okay, Grandpa. Tomorrow I will wake up early," Daniel replied as he entered the wooden house.

A pair of red eyes watched from the darkness. Lee, Daniel and Jo were not aware of the existence of the creature.
