Chapter Three

Sleeping soundly after the most delicious night with Xadrian I slowly peeled open my eyes to get a glorious view of him in the shower. I almost got up and joined him when a vision shoved my eyes to the back of my head. It was a fallen. I couldn’t make out any features but the energy radiating off of his body was like cracks of lightening in the darkest storm. He was beyond upset. I tried to calm my mind to make out the words. “ She has taken a starsoul. This has gone on long enough. You have allowed your child to play games. She is not as innocent as she shows you. For this you are punished with death to live at the earths core for all eternity”  Another figure slowly fell to their knees. The voice that spoke made my throat close up. “Please give me a chance to find her and restore it. I will bring her to Ramora to plead her innocence. This has to be a mistake.”  when the man stood he saw me. I swear he was staring into every part of my existence. This was a warning I had to act fast if I wanted to keep my life.

Maybe taking Xadrians bike wasn’t such a good idea. My newly reinstated memories were started to cause flashbacks. Every time I turned down a road it felt like my thighs were gripping his. It felt like I was the passenger instead of the driver. I could almost smell him. I was really starting get upset with myself. Opting to wipe my memories did not help. It just made coming back hurt like it did the day I left. 

We had both said hurtful things. Xadrian was not ready for commitment. He had made that painfully clear. I decided to go out with friends. I was dancing with a random guy when all of sudden he came charging in and about killed him.. He seemed different and his eyes were filled with lust. He just said he was done with me only a few hours prior. I was so confused my head hurt. When his best friend Orion finally pulled him off this guy he told me that Xadrian had awoken his wolf. Xadrian came at me like there was no other people around and tried to strip me right there in front of everyone. With a snap of my fingers I put him to sleep. He hated this. I knew when he woke up he would be angry. I was not about to deal with Xadrian or his wolf. I was set to ascend and he had already hurt me enough. I decided I would wipe my memories and spend my next turn searching for my mate and finally be at rest on earth. 

I shook my head to get these memories out. I was coming up to the complex when I felt it. It was like my entire body was floating away.The beating of my heart was louder than the motorcycle. When out of no where an identical black bike flew past me. It felt like every particle of star dust in my body was trying to pull itself back into one. As I pulled into the complex the feeling was gone.
