I chuckled, my arms folding under my breasts. Divorce Aiden?
"You're joking, right?" I scoffed, a deep frown crawling unto my face. "What do you mean? Why would you want me to divorce him?"
"You will not counter anything I say, Adeline. His family promised alot but had fulfilled none, what's the point of staying in that marriage!" Mom protested, bringing out some documents from her bag. "Here are the divorce papers, sign them now and wake that blind husband of yours to scribble his signature too!" She commanded.
"You do not control my life, mom! You only have that right when I was an omega and haven't found my voice. I always do what you want but I don't want to, anymore." I said, my voice laced with disgust.
