Aiden's POV
I grinned as I saw Adeline fidget beside me. It felt kinda good teasing her, why would I even choose that line.
Honeymoon? I chuckled. I'm taking things too far.
She looked kind of scared but hey ! I was joking. The whole house was steaming hot so I just wanted to have a good time with Adeline.
'Love is a good thing.' Yeah, and I've made up my mind to try it out. It wouldn't hurt, would it?
"Stay calm, Del." I patted her hair but she looked away.
"Aiden, what are you doing?"
"It's not a crime to hold my wife, is it? I've always told you to stay away but now, I want you close, uh?" I placed her head on my chest.
It's been two days since we got married but I felt like I've loved Adeline for years now.
Unrequited love was one thing I'd never want and now I'm beginning to wonder if she would reciprocate my feelings.

"Um Aiden, can we just do this honeymoon thing some other day?" Adeline gave me an awkward smile before trying to stand again but I grabbed her waist, this time making her lie on top of me.

"You really want honeymoon now?"
I nodded. "Yeah, is there a problem?"
"Of course, I mean I'm... I'm not ready."
Hmm, I understand. She was just 19 years old and I know she would never agree to this.
"So when will you be ready?"
"I..I…I'm not sure."
"Does that mean we'll never have s*x?"
"Oh my God, Aiden don't be so blunt!" She blushed, her face turning red immediately.
"Not even a kiss?" I asked, my thumb tracing her plump red lips.
"Why are you suddenly being nice? Where's the Aiden I got married to?"
"That Aiden is gone, okay? I've never hated you." I told her and that was the truth.
I didn't understand my feelings then and all I did was just an excuse not to fall in love with her. I was only trying to distract myself from developing love for Adeline but now it has reached its Zenith and I can't even stop.
I promise to never cuss at those actors in movies anymore. I hated any movie about love at first sight thingy, I had always curse the casts until end of the movie.
"What's with that frown?"
"Tell me Aiden, tell me how you see things."
"I don't see clearly, Del. But even though my view is always blurry, I can make it out in my head." I explained.
I know that's too much for a blind man but my senses are kinda of super active.
"Then that means your chances of seeing again is high. Maybe your eyes isn't all ruined, I think the tissues are weak. Do they itch?" She asked, rubbing my eyes.
Sometimes, I wonder if she belongs to the medical department or something. Why does she acts like a doctor?
"Yeah, they do itch at times."
"Hmm…" She nodded. "Then the eye membrane must be weak. I'll check properly." She said and stood up, examining my eyes.
I chuckled as she did this. This girl…
When she ran into the bathroom, I came to realise I was being fooled. She only wanted to escape.
The sound of running water persisted, for an hour exactly. Adeline was still in the bathroom, bathing.
"Are you going to stay in there forever?" I had to ask. "Adeline? Adeline." I called but she didn't reply.
Frowning, I stood up. Did something happen to her?
Oh my God, she slumped? Aiden why are you being dramatic? I just have to check and…

I quickly shut the door when Adeline screamed out. She didn't slump or anything, just a naked little girl checking out herself in the mirror!

"A cloth please!" I heard her say, stretching her hand through the bathroom's door.
"Alright." I nodded and strode towards the closet where her clothes were arranged but seeing the rags annoyed me and I slammed the closet shut.
Moving to mine, I picked up one of my baggy shirts. This would do.
"Thanks." She muttered, taking it from me but returned it again.
"My dress please."
"It's no dress, Del. Those are just worn out set of clothes. Wear that and later, I'll send Nora to get you some nice wears."
She nodded hesitantly and slammed the door.
After what seemed like eternity, she exited the bathroom.
As I raised my head to look at her, I almost fell off the bed.
Oh my goodness, why didn't she put on a bra?
