Kade's POV
I hit solid ground hard enough to knock the air from my lungs. When I opened my eyes I was standing on a cliff. Wind whipped my hair back. Salt spray stung my face. Below me, the ocean crashed against jagged rocks in a rhythm that felt almost hypnotic. And above me hung the moon.
It was massive. Closer than it should be. So close I could see every crater and shadow on its surface. It bathed everything in silver light that made my skin prickle. Made my wolf restless.
"Hello, Kade."
I spun around. A man stood behind me. My height. My build. My face. But older. Scars crossed his jaw and forehead. Lines creased the corners of his eyes. He looked like he had lived a hundred hard years.
"Who are you?" I demanded.
