Natalie's POV The punch landed with a sound that made my stomach turn. Xander's fist connected with Kade's jaw and sent him sprawling backwards into the dirt. For a second everything froze. Kade's men surged forward with weapons raised but Kade lifted his hand from where he lay bleeding and they stopped mid-step. He stood slowly and wiped blood from his split lip. Then he smiled.
