The throne room was completely silent. Every eye was fixed on me. I could feel the weight of their stares pressing against my skin. Fear. Awe. Hatred. Confusion. All of it was directed at the girl who had walked into this room powerless and walked out a Sovereign.
I did not care what they thought.
The chains around Xander and Kade shattered. I did not touch them. Did not even look at them. I just wanted them gone and they were. The silver fell away in pieces and clattered on the marble floor. Both Alphas stumbled forward rubbing their wrists. Free.
