The cold winds of the Krynth mountain faded the moment Leah stepped into the Lumaris Cave. It was vast and cavernous, with walls that sparkled faintly in the dim light. Not a single snowflake from the blizzard outside made its way in. She barely noticed Sath placing her down, as her attention was drawn to the surreal beauty of the cave.
“Come in,” Sath whispered in her ear, his voice gentle but firm. “You’re going to love this.” He took her hand without hesitation, guiding her deeper into the cave.
Leah followed, her eyes darting around, taking in the strange but inviting warmth of the space. As they moved deeper, she noticed several unlit lanterns and a few makeshift bunks scattered along the walls. “We come here often,” Sath explained, lighting a few lanterns as they moved forward.
