Dean’s POV Dean, I’m sorry, but I don’t think I can go much further. Stella isn’t the first to say it; Liz already did. Roscoe hasn’t yet, but I think it’s just because he’s putting on a tough face for his Alpha. He’s tired, too. We all are. We’ve been running for at least eight hours straight—maybe longer. We’ve still got the scent of Nolan’s clan in our noses, and we know we’re on the right track, but we don’t seem to be gaining on them. Probably because they’re in vehicles and we’re on foot. But, then, if we were in vehicles, we wouldn’t be able to track them. What if we lose their scent? I ask the others. What if we call it a night and then can’t pick it back up in the morning?
