Aanra's POV;

Enzo grabs my hand to lead me to the dining hall. The moment I felt his hand touch mine I felt sparks but tried to ignore them. I wonder if he feels this same pull, but I doubted it being he never reacted as he did, so maybe it's just me.

We descend all the stairs we had to walk up to get to the room, there were so many stairs in this house and I've only been to one floor. We get to the dining hall and it's full of people, I'm assuming this will be my introduction as luna to the pack, at least the important members.

"Welcome members of the Embermoon pack, I called you all here tonight to welcome our new luna," Enzo says presenting me in front of everyone.

There was mostly silence and some mumble in the group. It's quite a warm welcome to the pack, everyone seems so thrilled I'm here. Enzo was relatively annoyed his pack was not accepting of his luna.

"Everyone welcome our luna Aarna to the pack." He says remotely annoyed.

After that everyone cheered but it was obvious I was not wanted here, or maybe they didn't believe I was there luna. With that, we took our seats next to I assume his parents.

"So Enzo, now that you have your 'Luna' we will soon be handing you the alpha title. You ready for that?"

"Yes, father I've been ready you know this." Enzo looks to me, "Father this is Aarna, Aarna this is my father Alpha Eric, and my mother Luna Lillian." He says pointing to each.

"It's lovely to meet you both," I reply with a smile.

"Oh I like this one, she's got a sweetness to her. Too bad she's not your mate Enzo. Speaking of Aarna have you turned 18 yet?" Lillian said catching my attention.

"Oh no, I have 2 months till my 18th birthday. I have yet to meet my wolf either, though I know it's uncommon to meet them before your birthday." I say sipping a glass of water.

"Maybe you will be Enzo's mate after all." She replied with a smile.

Everyone keeps saying that but I'm just really doubting it. How would fate be we were married to strengthen alliances and somehow be mates. It's crazy sounding to me.

"Hey, there cutie." Says some woman trying to hang on to Enzo.

"Mia gets off, were done I told you this," Enzo replies pushing I'm assuming Mia off him.

She looks at me, "You b***h ruined it all, but whatever because when I turn 18 and he's my mate I will be taking him."

I smiled. "Oh, you will huh? Okay you can have him if he's your mate, but" I stop and move closer to her whispering in her ear. "remember whos married to him, and who sleeps in the same room as him, and don't forget your place with your luna mutt." I then sat back down to sip my glass of water.

She shot me a fiery look and walked away. They all then turn to me. "What? I just put her in her place." I smile.

"Oh, I really like you, honey." Lillian and Eric both said with a chuckle.

"You weren't to mean were you?" Enzo said turning to me.

"No, I just simply put her back in her place as she should be, I'm her Luna and she will respect me as so till otherwise changed," I replied eating some grapes off my plate.

Enzo chuckles in response. "Okay Luna, remind me not to get on your bad side."

The night went on with the exchanging of stories and whatnot, I met a lot of the Omegas that work in the house so I kinda figured out who to ask for things and who not to. I also met a lot of the pack members who as they left after eating would stop and congratulate Enzo and me. I was fairly tuckered out after all the days' events by the time we were finally done.

"Tired are we?" Enzo asked looking at me leaning on the table.

"A little, we did just get married, ride in a car all the way here, and then have dinner with a bunch of your pack tuckered out," I reply

"And with that mom, dad, I will be taking Aarna to the bedroom and heading to bed for the night," Enzo says getting up from the table and grabbing my hand.

"Goodnight everyone," I say tiredly as we head up the long stairs.

We finally get to the bedroom and I just collapse on my bed. "You should probably get out of that dress." He chuckles.

I groan and get up to go change, I put on a cute tank top with some lace on the top, and some shorts to sleep in. I walk out of the bathroom and Enzo looks over at me as I come out.

"That's all your sleeping in?" He says walking closer to me.

"Yea, I'm not sleeping in a suit just because we share a room," I reply kinda sarcastically.

By now Enzo is right in front of me, and I'm not sure what he's doing. Then I feel it, that pull again, all I want to do I kiss him at that moment. I think he was reading my mind because he did kiss me.

He pulled me tight against his body while he kissed me with passion. he tasted sweet and I loved every second. I started getting hot, really hot, just then he pulled away from me and let go of me. I sighed slightly at the loss of his touch.

Enzo didn't say a word, he just walked away from me and got in bed. I can say I was hurt he didn't say anything at all, so I just slowly climbed into my bed and let out a sigh. I slowly closed my eyes drifting to sleep.
