I wake to an empty room, light barely coming through the curtains indicating it is sometime in the morning. I slowly roll over to check the time, "8:30 am" my phone reads, I sigh getting out of bed to head to the shower. I slip out of my night clothes from the night and hop into the nice luxurious shower. The shower has jets all over showing me. I washed up slowly enjoying the nice shower before my day started as luna, today is my first day and ill be training under luna Lillian to learn my duties here.

I hop out of the shower and pick through my wardrobe, picking a simple blue sundress for the day. As a now luna I had to dress appropriately, meaning dresses most of the time. I put the dress on and put my long curls up into a simple ponytail for the day and put on the necklace my mother gave me as a pup that I almost always wear. I give myself one more good look in the mirror satisfied with my appearance and head out of the room.

When I walk out of the bedroom I bump into a tall buff man, very intimidating.

"Oh my I'm so sorry," I say stepping back a little nervous.

"No, I am sorry Luna, I'm Derek by the way I am, Alpha Enzo's beta. He asked me to wait outside the room till you woke so I could escort you to luna Lillian, he didn't want you getting lost on your first day. He wanted to accompany you but some urgent business arrived so he asked me to." The man who is Derek said to me.

I nod starting to follow him down the hall. " So your Derek his beta? What business did Enzo have to attend to?" I ask

"Just some business, nothing to worry about luna, you can ask him yourself if you'd like to know later today." He replies simply leading me down the hall.

I nod as I follow Derek down the hall to luna Lillian, I wonder what she'll be teaching me today. I sighed, this is a lot but it is my duty as a luna to learn these things, my mate may be an Alpha and id be a luna so I should make sure to learn. We get to the end of the hall where a large door, Derek knocks on the door.

"Who is it?" calls Lillian.

"Its beta Derek and Luna Aarna, Luna Lillian." He replys

"Oh yes come in." She replies opening the door and letting us in.

I follow Derek in looking around the room, I spot someone in the corner looking like Enzo but not at the same time.

"Hi dear," said Lillian. "Oh, this is Alpha Matteo. Aarna." She says gesturing to the man in the corner.

"Hello I'm Luna Aarna," I say formally to Matteo.

"Nice to meet you, Luna." He says grabbing my hand and kissing it, giving me tingles down my back.

He suddenly looks at me. "How old are you Luna?"

"17 just 2 months from my 18th birthday," I reply a little confused

"Oh, I see." He replied. "Well, I must get back to my pack it was good visiting, Luna, and Luna." He says to both Lillian and me walking out of the room.

"He's Alpha of Ember pack, he was visiting about our alliance," Lillian stated simply. "Anyway, shall we get on with the duties today?" She asked with a smile. "Well head out to the training yard first today and watch some warriors train for a bit." She says heading out the door. "It's not super exciting but it is a duty to show up to some training sessions here and there, the warriors like to show off for the Luna so it also helps them train a little harder." She continues as we head outside.
