I stomped out of the meeting room seething over this.

Why are you so against it why can't you guys just move on from this?

I just can't max you don't get it, he betrayed me Max he betrayed us. I know you miss Cyrus and I'm sorry, it's not your fault and it's not fair to you.

I do miss him but I'm your wolf and always will be first and that's just that there, it's okay I understand.

Max left me alone with my thoughts. I just can't believe he's making me work with Matteo. He helped that bastard, the whole reason we ended up with the Amber Eyes pack as a problem was because of Matteo.

I made my way outside to the warrior training grounds, I spotted Aarna and my mother watching over some sessions, I spotted some of the warriors checking out Aarna, I couldn't blame them she was beautiful, but a pang of jealousy hit me causing me to growl a bit. I strolled over to them.

"Luna, mother. How is training today?" I asked

"Good, we've got some fine warriors out there, how was the meeting with your father?" Mother asked.

"It was fine," I stated not wanting to talk about this in front of Aarna, I wasn't sure how to tell her my brother was going to be her husband too basically and that she'd be Luna to both of us for a time being.

"Good." mom replied simply. "Well Aarna since Enzo is done with his meeting ill leave you some time with him, tomorrow we will do some lovely office work." She stated as she strolled away.

I turned to Aarna, "would you like to go on a walk? I can show you around the courtyard." I asked.

"Sure," she replied simply linking her arm to mine as we began strolling away.

We began to make our way to the courtyard, it was very lush, very of lots of beautiful flowers and greenery.

"Wow it's beautiful," she said removing her arm from mine and making her way to the fountain.

I watched her in awe, she was so beautiful, I only hoped the moon goddess would bless me with someone so beautiful as a mate, and here she is not as my mate. I walked over to her pulling her up against me, her back against my chest holding her hips. She jumped a little and just stood there tense, I knew I was confusing her because I told her this marriage meant nothing it was just the union of packs by marriage. I just keep my hands off her when around her she was too beautiful.

"Alpha! Alpha!" Yelled Derek running towards me, "I apologize to interrupt you but we have rouges attacking the gate, Lukes is there now with the warriors." he says quickly.

I let go of Aarna quickly. "Escort her back to the room and you are to stay with her in the room until I return." I say quickly looking at Aarna "Listen to whatever he says he'll keep you safe." I say quickly turning to leave.

"Be safe.." She says as she turns to leave with Derek, and I head to the gate.
