Aarnas POV

Enzo left the room and I sighed. I needed to get my head straight and stop playing around. Derek was hot but I'm technically married and the Luna of his pack, so I couldn't be doing this. I was waiting for my mate and was going to stay true to that. I got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up and decided I was going to go for a walk alone in the courtyard.

I walked out the bedroom door running into someone, again, I should really pay more attention. "Oh sorry"

"No, I'm sorry I shouldn't have stood so close to the door." The man chuckled, I don't know who this was.

"Who are you?"

"Oh I'm Lucas, I'm Alpha's Gamma, he asked me to watch your door and make sure if you came out you weren't alone." He replied simply. "Where were you heading?"

"Oh.." I say, now I need a babysitter. "Just to go for a walk in the courtyard, I never finished seeing it all."

"Very well then, after you Luna." He says.

"Okay.." I say.

I really wanted to go alone but I'm sure he's under orders or something. He seems nice so I guess maybe it won't be bad. We make our way out to the courtyard. I made my way to the fountain.

"You like the fountain?" Lucas asked. I nodded. "I can show you a really pretty spot if you'd like Luna." He stated.

"Oh yes please."

Lucas leads me through the courtyard to a path at the back. This path went through a really wooded area, we walked for what seemed like a while to a big opening. A large circular opening in the woods with a large pond in the center. The pond had a pretty waterfall and lilypads all over the pond. I looked around taking it in, it smelled so beautiful.

"It's beautiful Lucas." I basically shout in happiness.

Lucas chuckles at me. "Glad you like it, Luna, I'm going to sit over here to give you some space." He says walking back towards the entrance, there was a bench to sit there.

I walked up to the pond sitting on the edge dipping my feet in the water. It was clear water, you could see clear to the bottom. I sat there splashing my feet around taking in the beauty. I sighed happily looking down at the pond and looking at my reflection.

I jumped up in shock at who was talking to me.
