For The Packs

I stand in front of those large doors waiting for them to open, I'm so nervous I can hear my heartbeat. My father soon walks up beside me to walk me down the aisle, My father is Alpha James of Silver Creek Pack, this whole marriage was his and Alpha Eric.'s idea, I guess it strengthens their alliance to have Enzo and I married. It felt almost like hours before the doors opens, and all eyes are on me.

I'm wearing a mermaid-style wedding dress. The dress is fitted strapless features a plunging sweetheart neckline and ornate lace appliques, with them, accompany minor bling throughout the dress. The mermaid skirt adds a beautiful shape to the gown. This dress fits so well to my curves and showed off my body structure.

I slowly walk my way down the aisle with my bouquet in hand and my father beside me with his arm wrapped in mine, I look down the aisle I see my soon to be husband in a nice fitted black tux with a blue tie. Goddess, he looks so handsome up there, if only he was my mate. I walk to the end of the aisle with my father where he places a kiss on my cheek as he hands my hand to Enzo.

Enzo takes my hands in his as we face each other, I look deeply into his eyes and feel this pull to him. I brush it off bringing me back to reality a little.

“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness this man and woman join together in holy matrimony.” The pasture starts.

I got lost in Enzos eyes again missing most of the speech from the pasture.

"Before God, your friends, and your families, I ask you to affirm your willingness to enter the covenant of marriage and to share all the joys and sorrows of your lives and your relationship, whatever the future may hold." The pasture continues bringing my focus back.

"Enzo, do you take this woman to be your wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" Replies Enzo

"Aarna, do you take this man to be your husband? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health as long as you both shall live?"

"I do" I reply

Repeat after me. I take you, Aarna, this day as my wife. I promise to walk by your side forever as your best friend and your soul mate. You are my beloved one and I am proud to marry you. I promise to support your dreams and to be there for you all our lives.

We exchanged rings finishing off our vows

" I now pronounce you husband and wife. Groom, you may kiss the bride." Said the pasture, the words I honestly waited to hear.

Enzo pulled me in close planting a sweet and romantic kiss on my lips, he tasted sweet and I just melted into him a little, during the kiss I felt that pull to him again but shook it off not sure what it was. He slowly pulled away with a smile while the crowd cheered. I knew better though he was putting the show on for the crowd so they believed we were in love and mates.

We then walked back down the aisle hand and hand till past the doors, once the doors were shut he let go of my hand. "Wasnt hard to convince them we were in love," he said.

"No, not really." I laughed a little trying to act like I didn't care.

Enzo then looked at me, "You do look beautiful by the way, someone will be really lucky to have you as a mate. Speaking of when is your birthday?"

"In two months, but that doesn't mean ill find my mate yet," I reply

"Well that is true, but a mate will complicate us being married for the packs if you find him, hopefully by then, this war threat is over. Also, you will be my luna in till otherwise, I will become Alpha of Embermoon now following the tradition of marrying my 'mate'. We won't have an official luna ceremony thought because that will complicate the divorce following the war worry falling." He says spitting all this on me already before we even leave. "Oh we leave in a couple of hours, so I suggest going and packing. I need to get back to my pack."

"Okay," I reply softly, turning to head to my room. This will be fun I'm sure.
