Katie Dinner began as a quiet affair. The clinking of silverware against plates was the only sound to break the silence. I sat between Luna Sylvia and Alpha Bloodfang. I was aware of every small movement Frank made across from me. He hadn’t said much since we sat down. And I wasn’t sure if that was better or worse than his usual indifference.
