“I… I don’t know what you mean,” I stammered, though the tightness in my chest told me I did. Her implication was clear.
Audrey scoffed. Her eyes narrowed as she took a step closer. “Oh, come on, Katie! Everyone knows you’ll do anything to get Frank’s attention. I don’t know how you managed to get Alpha Bloodfang to pity you. But I wouldn’t be surprised if you deliberately seduced Ken just to make yourself the victim.”
