Katie Today was the day of the trip to Flameville. As expected, my nerves were on edge. Still, I pushed the anxiety aside and forced myself out of bed. If nothing else, I could use the early start to ensure everything was ready. After getting dressed in a practical yet presentable outfit, I made my way to the pack’s stables, where the trackers were preparing the supplies for the journey. Trackers were busy organizing supplies, securing provisions, and other things needed to our journey. “Good morning,” I called out with a cheerful smile as I approached the group. One of the senior trackers, a burly man named Gavin, paused in his work and turned to me. “Morning, Miss Katie. What brings you here so early?” “I wanted to see if there was anything I could do to help,” I replied earnestly.
