Katie I adjusted the delicate necklace around my neck. It felt almost surreal to be standing here, preparing for a grand party alongside Luna Sylvia herself. She had been nothing but kind to me. And tonight, her generosity had left me speechless. The necklace she had just given me shimmered with elegance. Its intricate design caught the light with every movement. “Mom…” I called for her as I brushed the cool metal with my fingers. “I can’t accept this. It’s too special.” Luna Sylvia smiled. Her eyes were shining with affection. “Nonsense, Katie,” she replied then placed a hand on my shoulder. “This necklace is yours now. It’s been passed down through the Lunas of Silverwolf for generations. My mother-in-law gave it to me on the night of my ascension. And now, I’m passing it on to you.
