Frank I sat rigidly in my chair. I was tapping my fingers against the edge of the wooden table in my quarters. The rhythmic sound was the only thing breaking the tense silence in the room. Morning light filtered through the curtains which cast soft golden streaks across the floor. But I wasn’t in the mood to appreciate the calmness of the new day. My mind was far from calm. It was a battlefield. There was a raging storm that refused to settle in it. The previous night’s events played in an endless loop in my head. Katie holding onto Logan’s arm… Her easy laugh… And the way she acted like I didn’t … These and more got under my skin. I was already annoyed as I left the feast. But my blood boiled at the thought of her staying behind with Logan and did not care about my absence. Ye
