Screeching seagulls were returning to their homes, with the orange setting sun disappearing behind the horizon, while the waves continued to rise and fall. Over and over again, the dark water rose at full power in the middle of the ocean and every time it crashed and disintegrated on the sandy shore and then retreated like a meek little creature back into the ocean.
