Orion immediately tensed up. He grabbed Jasper's hand anxiously and asked, "Are you telling the truth? Don't lie to me!"
"Why would I lie to you?" Jasper pouted. "Do I look like the kind of adult who lies to kids?"
Jasper was feeling quite proud of himself. Because Orion was younger than him, Jasper fancied himself as the adult.
Orion glanced disdainfully at Jasper. Even though he was indeed a child, being treated as such by a silly kid like Jasper annoyed him greatly.
