Late at night, Aurelia was about to head upstairs to bed when the doorbell rang.
She opened the door to see two unwelcome faces.
Leon was supporting Isabella, who stood unsteadily at the door. Isabella had spent the entire afternoon on her knees, and her knees were now raw and painful, making it hard for her to stand. Despite this, she insisted on coming with Leon to confront Aurelia, wanting to see Leon teach her a lesson firsthand.
Leon had promised to make Aurelia kneel and apologize to her.
