True to her word, Mia contacted Graystone International to reopen the sales negotiations of my father's company. They were anxious to complete the deal and did everything possible to accommodate my transportation to Toronto. Had even arranged a three-bedroom suite for Mia, Natalie and me.
Which meant that Mia didn't have to call in that favor from her friend, as Graystone International had sent their own private jet. We arrived in Toronto mid-morning on a Tuesday. Our meeting with the Graystone legal team was scheduled for three that same afternoon. That gave us time to get settled in our hotel suite, and enjoy an unhurried lunch. Since the meeting was to be held in a conference room in the hotel, we didn't have to leave the hotel or navigate traffic.
