Dr. Roland Saunders completed his examination of my eyes for the fifth time in as many days.
"Ava, the surgery went well, the sutures are holding well, and your eyes are healing as expected. As I explained before your surgery, the full healing process can take between three and twelve months. I know your vision is cloudy, but that's to be expected. That will clear up over time. Keep using the eyedrops as prescribed, continue to wear these sunglasses to protect your eyes from UV rays and airborne debris. No strenuous activities for another four to six weeks. Most importantly, rest, good nutrition, and don't worry!"
