I couldn't believe I looked like a mess in front of Oliver, and I hated him for joining us to dinner without informing us he would be there. How could he show up and look like everything was okay? He left without saying goodbye, and now he was talking to my parents as if he didn't make me look like a fool coming up to the stage alone yesterday at the Math competition.
