38 - Fighting the bad guys
Ricardo The pain is tremendous. I wish I could be talking about the physical pain but that is not what is bothering the most right now. Seeing Mara again has proven to take a great toll on me. I could not even defend myself against her. Not that I had any chance, though. She has gotten way stronger. I wonder if it has something to do with the nanites coursing through her veins. However, right now I cannot worry about that. They have Hikari. Daisuke and Kaede must have been plotting this since before they returned. I just don’t know how they managed to get Mara to tag along with them. I try to get back on my feet only to get pushed down by one of the guards.
