Jack As soon as the pain vanishes, I manage to get up and rush to enter the secret lab just in time to see Kitty Girl jump through the conduit that leads to the sea. I still try to follow after her but father stops me by holding my arm. He shakes his head and turns around to look behind us. I follow his eyes and see Daniel holding Yumi closely in his arms. She is still conscious but it’s obvious she’s upset by what just happened to her. Who knew she would react that way to the meteor? Looking back at my dad, it crosses my mind that he probably knew.
