Chapter 9

Jordan quickly ran out the door and jumped into his car and sped away. I looked at Sarah and we were both confused because we had no idea what was going on. We went downstairs to wait on someone to come pick us up. It felt like we had waited forever and then finally a guy showed up to get us. “Sarah, there here to get us” I told her as I looked out the window again for the tenth time. When we walked outside Sarah was looking at the guy strangely. He was cute with his dark black hair and gray eyes. He was all dressed in black which made his eyes stand out more. He had this kind of mysterious vibe going on. “My name is Shane, Jordan sent me to take you home” he said. Sarah looks at us both and then whispers to me “I think I just found my mate!”. “Are you sure?” I asked her. “Not completely but no one has ever made me feel the way I’m feeling right now” she said as she gripped my arm. “Okay, I’ll ask to be dropped off first to give you guys some alone time together” I whispered back to her. “Shane, can you drop me off first? I need to go home and start packing” I told him. “Sure” he said as he was staring at Sarah. I sat in the back so she could set upfront with him and they could talk. We drove for twenty minutes and then we pulled into the driveway of my mom and dads house. “I’ll see you guys later” I said as I got out of the car. “See you tomorrow” said Sarah as they pulled away. I went into the house and grabbed some dinner and then headed upstairs to start packing. I didn’t even know where to start! I sat down on the bed looking around, thinking of all the memories I made here. It was bittersweet thinking of everything. I remember this one time when I was little I was trying to do flips on my bed and jumped way to high up and hit the ceiling. My mom was in a panic but my dad couldn’t help but laugh about it. “Kids will be kids” he told her. I was going to miss being here with them and all her good food but, I won’t be to far away. I got up off the bed and walked to my closet. I’ll pack all my clothes up and then I’ll get all my make up and my other things. I made sure to leave out a pair of jeans and a shirt for tomorrow. I was mostly all done packing now so I laid down on my bed and was thinking about Jordan and how it went with Sarah and that Shane guy. I don’t like being without Jordan! I never thought I’d feel this way about anyone and now my whole body was aching for him! I can’t wait to see him again, to be with him! I wonder why he hasn’t called me..
