Chapter 1

Today is graduation day and I’m so nervous! I don’t like the idea of having to get up on a stage in front of all these people. I’m really hoping I don’t trip entering or exiting the stage. I’ll be glad to have this part over! I was seated in between Jordan and his girlfriend and that was kind of weird to say the least. Finally they call me up to get my diploma and i didn’t trip.. Thank Goodness!! I’m always so clumsy when I’m nervous so usually I’m tripping or running into something but not this time. I made it without an incident. Everyone else is done walking across the stage now and we’re getting ready to toss our hats up in the air. We all did at one time but when I went to pick mine up I accidentally got Jordan’s instead and didn’t notice til I got home. My mom had a small party for me nothing major just a cake and a few presents. She was always doing sweet little things like that for me. She got me a pretty dress and a few books because she knows how much I love to read. Her and my dad told me how proud of me they are. I was so wore out after the graduation and the party I went to bed. Just one more day and then it’ll be my birthday. When I got up the next morning it really hit me I didn’t know what I was going to do anymore. School was over and I did not have a job. I think I should go out and look for one after my birthday. I didn’t even know what kind of job to look for so I was going to need a few days to figure out what I wanted to do anyways.
