NOLAN "Are you alright?" Naire questioned, something between exhaustion and amusement written on her face. "Wait…now, I see why you were sneaking around to see her at nights the last time you came. It makes sense, doesn't it? Emma is quite nice on the eyes." As if a thought just walked into her mind, she expressed, "Now I remember…it's Emily, not Emma." At this point, I was unsure as to what to do. I knew I couldn't allow my family's attention to come anywhere near Emily. I couldn't do it to her, no matter how deeply she despised me. "She's a book lover, you know," I said, doing my best to act casually.
