His voice broke as he spoke and my heart did the same as I listened to him. It wasn't easy at all for him and that was just the truth. His girlfriend had recently gotten pregnant, and he was about to be a father. To everyone else, he was at a good part in his life— I mean, finding someone to settle down with in Darkwood was no small ‘achievement' in the town. But now his heart was elsewhere.
