The Eastside vendetta

They watched as the details on the screen of the laptop continued to move on itself before Enzo tapped Andrea a little. “Now.” He whispered and sat on his chair again. Andrea drew the laptop closer to himself and bent down, Enzo's gaze is still fixed on the laptop. His adept fingers started flying on the keyboard. Some minutes later, he released his hand and pointed at the screen. “See, I said it, they are also making a move.” “We need to shock them then.” Enzo said, standing up again and moving to one of the shelves near his desk. “It's either we wipe them off or leave a huge dent on them and wipe them off later.” He pulled a silver shiny gun from the shelf and pulled out a black gun from his back. “Call Matteo to arrange the troops.” He ordered, c*****g the gun. “I'm coming with you.” Andrea declared as he leaned up and started walking towards the door, his footsteps muted. “No.” Enzo replied, his blue eyes darkened. “They took her, remember.” Andrea snapped back as he reached the door. Enzo sighed and turned back to the guns in his hands. “You need to stay with the laptop to watch out for us and pass information.” Andrea shaked his head again. “That's why you brought Olivia. They killed the only blood family I have, I must see them fall.” With that, Andrea turned the door knob and stepped out of the office, leaving Enzo and his laptop. Enzo hid the guns behind him and adjusted the sleeve of his shirt. Then, he pulled out a set of knives and started arming himself. When he's done, he walked back to his table, took his phone and dialed Alessia's number. The phone rang thrice before Alessia finally picked it. “What?” She asked. “Are you back?” Enzo asked calmly. “No. We'll be home in a few minutes. It's not three hours yet.” “Is Olivia with you?” The line stilled for a few minutes before she answered. “Yes, what—” “Pass her the phone.” Enzo interjected and moved to lean on his desk. He stuck his hand into his pocket. Olivia's voice finally sounded from the other side. “Wagwan.” Enzo shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. “Come straight to my office when you are back.” Not waiting for a reply, he cut the call and placed the phone on his table. Right at that moment, Andrea stepped inside, the blue jorts, white shirt and sneakers he was wearing changed to black leather trousers, leather jacket, a black glove, and combat boots. He continued to adjust his gloves as he stepped inside, his footsteps echoing on the polished floor. “Matteo will be here in a few minutes.”He said, his eyes on his glove. Enzo nodded. Some minutes later, the door to Enzo's office opened and a man with a not-so-strong build stepped inside. He's also wearing a leather jacket and trousers, he has long golden blonde hair which is packed behind him in a bun. He bowed. “Done boss.” Enzo nodded and stepped out of the office. The three stepped into an elevator at the far end of the corridor and they stepped out on the last floor. Right at that moment, Olivia and Alessia strutted in, each hand filled with shopping bags from different luxury brands. They were chatting animatedly, their faces full of smiles, behind them were two male dressed in black suits and sunglasses and in their hands were shopping bags too. As Olivia settled her eyes on the approaching Enzo, her smile dropped. Alessia also noticed it and shifted her gaze to where Olivia's eyes were fixed on. She set her lips into a thin line. Olivia handed the shopping bags she's carrying to the guards— each hand for one man — and turned back to Enzo. “I don't remember training guards just so they could turn to errands boys.” He said smugly and Alessia only shrugged as she walked past him. “Here I am.” Olivia said, acting like she didn't hear what he said about the guards turning to errand boys. Enzo spared Andrea a glance before he started talking. “We need you to keep a tab on us… more like watching out for us.” He said and dipped his hand into his pocket. He removed a small chip and passed it to Olivia. “Anything you see in the laptop in Enzo's office, say it into this chip.” Olivia inspected the small black chip in her palm and nodded. “This is my first task, yeah?” Andrea nodded, but not before sparing Enzo a glance. “Where's Mr Profaci’s office?” She asked mockingly. “Third floor, at the other end of the corridor, Alessia will lead you there.” Enzo stated and walked past her, Andrea and Matteo behind him. Olivia watched them for some minutes before she sighed and walked towards the elevator. She continued to inspect the chip on her palm until the elevator finally tinged. She stepped out on the fifth floor and walked towards Alessia's room. She knocked twice before Alessia opened the door and she stepped inside. “I don't get it, can you tell me the details?” Olivia asked, showing the chip to Alessia. Alessia shifted her gaze to the chip before sighing in relief. “Thank goodness, they finally found their location. Those hussies sure know how to hide.” “Can you lead me to Enzo's office? He mentioned that I need to pass information across to them.” She nodded and urged her out of her room. “They took Andrea's Little sister's life in the last confrontation.” Alessia started, which made Olivia's eyes widen as she followed a few meters behind her. With Andrea's appearance, Olivia could already notice that he's not really combat based and to be honest with herself, she was surprised when she saw him dressed like that earlier and now, she finally knew the reason. She couldn't help but sigh in pity. It looked like Andrea's shiny and bubbly personality was just a façade or a sort of shield to cover his agony. They entered the office and Alessia hurried to the laptop on Enzo's table. “Put it in your ear.” Olivia nodded before putting the tiny chip in her right ear. She moved closer to the table and sat opposite Enzo's chair. Alessia slid the laptop to her. She watched the screen of the laptop, the glow illuminated her eyes. The screen showed the center of a place which looked like a warehouse. Olivia tapped the screen and the huge view of the center of the warehouse receded, showing other parts of the warehouse. It's five in total. Alessia moved and stood behind Olivia, leaning forward a little, she said; “I hope this will leave a huge dent on the Eastside boys for good.” Soon enough, Olivia saw something move in one of the cameras and she clicked on it, enlarging the view.
