12 years..12 years in this prison. Lana curled up tighter in her four-walled prison. The cold metal took away any warmth in her body. Her room was four metal walls with a reinforced window sitting in one wall. The giant window let her feel like a bug under a microscope. Today is the day that I escape this place. Lana jolted as there was a tapping on the window. She looked up and saw thin man with a head full of brown hair. Dr. Drane..the man that kidn*pped her so long ago, the one who made her a monster.
He spread his lips into a tight smile. A loud buzzing noise sounded out and two white-clad men came in through her door wheeling in a man on a cot. They stopped and pulled out a large syringe filled with a strange fluid. After injecting him with it they left the room. Lana knew instantly that the man was a vampire by the bloodlust smell he had.
Experiments like this happen daily. They are looking for something I can't kill. The body on the table started twitching suddenly then fell quiet and his skin began to puddle and melt away. Another failed attempt. The doors rattled open and in came the doctor and the two men from earlier. He pulled out a small remote and pressed it to let out an unbearable sound. It usually caused Lana to shrivel up and try to block the noise from her sensitive ears. Today though was different the sound had no effect.
Lana felt the muscles under her skin ripple as she began to shift into a sleek black wolf.
There was a feeling of satisfaction as she launched herself at the doctor and his helpers. She felt their blood warm her body as she ripped into them with her teeth. After finishing her work Lana ducked into the hallway and followed the corridor until she came to the outside world.
Sunlight washed over her pelt. She soaked in the warmth briefly and caught the scent of water. Lana followed it to a river and plunged in to wash off all the blood and smell of that place. She was finally free. It was time to go home, but first, he had to find a town to figure out where she even was.
