Just two days in the palace, and it felt suffocating. The walls seemed to have moved in a foot closer, and it seemed to press down on Regina wherever she looked.  How did I end up here? Those were the words twirling around in Regina's mind as she stood before the large mirror before her. Her room, which had been a mess and one even the servants wouldn't be given to use now looked like that of a real empress, way better than Lucinda's, if she dared to say. The worn out mattress had been replaced with a new one, a wooden bed with a golden headboard attached. It came with its mirror, a walk-in closet and two small drawers that had been kept on each side of the bed. The carpet, a plush, burgundy expanse was laid across the floor of the room.
