The hall was decorated beautifully. The ebony floor was polished so much that one could see their reflection on it. The walls were lined with a burgundy drapery which blended perfectly with the solid gold sconces lighting the room. It was the largest and most lavish area in the entire palace, and one could tell that immediately from the ornate decor and the enormity of the space.
Ivory arches carved with floral designs loomed high overhead, and the white columns that stood on the perimeter guarding the entrances were decorated with garlands of white roses. But the ceiling was the true focus. An immense mural of heavenly celestial bodies hovered above everyone. One could easily believe that they were staring at the night sky.
