I don't like him

ELLIE’s POV

The bell rang. Its lunch time.

“Girls, where would we eat today?” asked Sofia. “In the canteen of course” I answered. “Let’s not eat there anymore” Sofia said.

“I guess we’ll be eating somewhere today” said Marie as she arrived from the outside.

“Why?” I asked. “The canteen was full like it has the best dishes in the world” she answered.

I smirk. “We are eating there. Otherwise where we could eat?” I insisted.

“Come on. Let’s see if you really want to eat there if you see the bunch of girls in line. As if their food was great” Sofia said.

“Let’s go” I said as I stand up.

We went to the canteen and yes, it was full. But almost of the people in line were girls.

“Would you still like to follow the line?” Marie asked me.

“Forget it. Where are we going to eat?” I asked them. “Now we’re talking” said Sofia.

“Let’s go!” said Marie and they rushed me to the school gate.

I just let them do what they want since I have no choice. We rode a taxi and guess what, we arrived in front of my parent’s restaurant.

“So this is where the plan?” I disappointedly asked. “Why? I miss your mom’s chicken teriyaki” Sofia said. “We can only eat the most delicious chicken here” Marie added.

“What miss? You were here few days ago. Tell me, what is it you like here?” I asked.

“What more? Of course the food” said Marie

“Come on. Let’s eat” Said Sofia as she headed inside.

“Wel----. Oh Ellie, you guys are here” said Mom. “Mrs. Kim, hello” said Marie and Sofia. “Oh girls, what do you want to eat?” mom asked. “The best dish you have!” Sofia answered.

My mom laughed at her. She actually knows what it means, it’s the chicken teriyaki that Sofia loves the most.

“Chicken Buffalo for me!” added Marie. “Got it! Your orders on the way” my mom happily answered. “Aren’t you going to ask me mom?” I asked. “What do you want?” she asked. “Anything” I answered. “That’s why I don’t ask you. Got it?” she said.

Just a few more minutes, our food was served. We had an hour lunch break and it takes tem minutes to get here by a taxi from school. Basically, we got to return at school before the due time.

“That was a great lunch” Sofia said. “You know what the best part of it? It’s free! Hahahahaha” added Marie and they laugh together. I just smiled at them.

Since our families are friends, we treat each other as a whole family. There is definitely no disputes between us and our parents. That is why I love these girls so much, they were like my sister. While we are walking, we encounter one of the transferees that came in yesterday. He was running towards us. While he’s running, I saw girls chasing him in distance.

“Wait, what is going on?” I asked when suddenly he suddenly bumped at me making us fall at the different direction. My shoulder hurt so much.

“Omo, Ellie are you okay?” Sofia asked me. I looked at the guy and he was still on the ground. The girls arrived and looked at him.

“Aciel, Aciel,Aciel” different girls calling him. He seems annoyed, he looked at me and slightly bowed while softly saying “I’m sorry”. He stood up and faced the girls. Marie helped me to stand up at the same time.

“Can we talk later? I just can’t bear with this kind of setup, really” He said. “But you’ll not gonna talk to us later” a girl said. “Yeah, you’ll just run away like this” another girl said.

“Come on, were on school.” He said. He sounded like so annoyed. “If you have questions or what, just DM me, that would be better” he added.

“Will you reply?” a girl asked him. “Yes, I promise. Can we go now?” he answered.

The girls left and when no one was there, he faced us.

“I’m am so sorry, Are you okay?” he asked me. “Yeah, I’m good” I answered.

“What’s going on?” Marie asked him. “Uhm, it’s was just a few, oh not so few girls bugging on me”. We just starred at him. “Oh, I mean they were not after me. They knew that my brother was a K-pop Idol. They keep on asking me things”. He added.

“Uhh.. Okay. We’ll go then” I answered. “Uhh, yeah I’m really sorry”, he added. “No, its okay” I answered. Marie was still glaring at him, I pulled her and we headed into our classroom.

While we are walking, Sofia asked me “Are you really okay?”. “Yeah, Of course” I answered.

“That rude punk” Marie suddenly said. “What’s with you? He said he’s sorry” I asked her. “I don’t like him, he was rude with the girls” she answered. “I would probably be more rude to those girls if I wuld be him” I said. “I agree” Sofia said.

“Wait, you said you smell something like soap yesterday, Is that him?” Sofia asked. “I don’t think so. Well I don’t actually know.” I answered.

“What was that, a man smells like soap?” Marie asked with slight laugh. “I don’t know, I just smelled it” I lazily answered.

“They were lots of people there, but you smelled a soap? Is that a talent?” Marie asked again. “Maybe” I said. “Then why don’t we use that for business? Or for anything” She insisted. “Yeah, sure. Some other time” I lazily answered again. “Are you dorks?” Sofia asked.

We arrived at our classroom and our class shortly started.

After a few minutes, the bell rang. That the signal for classes. Our instructor entered the room and three students followed her. It was them, the transferees. They stood in front confidently, especially the first one to enter. Some girls were giggling and gossiping about when the saw them.

“Class, these three guys beside me will be your classmates in my subject” Ms. Park said. “I think most of you knows them” she added.

“Yes, Ma’am” my classmates happily said.

Marie was glaring at Aciel. Sofia is just smiling and I. I was just staring at the guy in the middle, it’s him. He’s the guy who smells like soap.
