After Aygul took me home from the hospital, all I had to do was just take it easy and take some medicine twice a day. Once when I get up and one before I go to bed. It was a very minor concussion, but at first it made it hard to keep my balance. Now all I have to deal with is just headaches. As usual, my parents were nowhere to be found. They didn’t even know I had a concussion, but it’s not like they could help me if I did. I doubt they really know how to deal with concussions, considering their regal and solitary-like lifestyles, it’s like they're not even human. I shake my head gently to stop this train of thought. I know too much as it is...so much that I never wanted to know. I sit down on the couch, as I sink into it’s cold leather padding, I try to process everything that happened. I felt the couch, as the coldness slightly nipped my fingers, and then looked at my hand. I chuckled slightly.
“Who am I kidding...this is all insane.” I lay down on my side, facing the flat screen in front of the couch. I wonder why this all exists though, I wonder if I might have just gone unconscious at some point before the wolves and I’m just dreaming all this...I attempt pinching myself as if it would help, but of course, I’m as wide awake as ever. I sigh quietly, I guess I have to face it, this really is all real. People who turn into a creature much bigger than a timberwolf...actually exist. I sat up…
“Why though…”, I picked up my galaxy phone, and started searching on Google. Trying to find some basis to this all.
…
Of course, my search had no avail. I was on the verge of passing out with my phone in hand, but luckily it lightly thudded on the floor and woke me up. I looked around and looked down at it, picking it up, I sighed. I guess I’ll have to ask Aygul about this kind of stuff, since she is the only person out of this group I know well enough. Even though my trust with Aygul is somewhat damaged at this time for her keeping from me something so important, I also understand why and respect the reasoning for keeping such a thing from me. I opened my messages and began texting Aygul…
“Aygul, remember earlier today, can I ask you some stuff about it?”
“Of course, what do you want to know?” she replied quickly, which was new. She turned vanishing mode on the chat.
“I wanted to know how werewolves came to be...is it some sort of curse, or something that just happens to people? I’m so confused how it would originate.”
She took a few moments before replying,
“Some believe that it’s a curse and others believe it is a blessing. How though is because of our Goddess, even though she isn’t really a Goddess. She’s a very powerful Druid, her name is Alyce. A long long time ago, Alyce had helped all sorts of animals with her magic. Often caring for them and helping heal the wounded ones. Most druids are connected to nature, and it is believed due to their deep connection, that they can speak to nature and its animals. At one point, Alyce had stumbled upon what she was a wounded and lone wolf. As she cared for the wolf, she fell in love with it. She released the wolf when it was at full health again. But later after releasing the wolf, she stumbled upon its corpse...it was mutilated and skinned. She loved the wolf so deeply and found the ones responsible. As she came upon the small group of humans who were eating the meat of the wolf and wearing the skinned fur of her beloved wolf. She lost control. Her powers overcame her and she casted down upon the humans, what is believed to be the curse of lycanthropy. Each human’s screams could be heard from miles as their bodies contorted for the first time into large wolves. Each person who turned is believed to represent each type of werewolf...Regal, Domatratix, Central, and the Low Borns. Each type of wolf has its benefits and disadvantages. The wolves you’ve met, myself included, are Central. Were the most basic. However, it isn’t uncommon for werewolves to be crossbred with the other types, Melenoy for example is Central and Domatratix. Crossbred often results in more disadvantages for the offspring…”
After reading all that, my head was spinning. I felt myself just into the couch more than I already had. What the ever living hell did I just read...I sighed, and tried to calm myself down a little. So, the basics is, Druids and Werewolves are very much real. Werewolves are the result and consequence of a Druid falling in love with a lone wolf she took care of and her emotions getting the better of herself...and there are four types of werewolves, meaning four people had hunted the lone wolf the Druid fell in love with.
“Ok then”, I sighed to myself, wrapping my head fully around what I just described to myself from the knowledge I know. I messaged Aygul again.
“Are there other creatures that most think are fictional that actually exist?” I asked.
“Yes, but not many. Each ‘creature’ has sups to each of them as well. The Druid Alyce, is a rare type of Druid, she’s called a ‘Beastlin’. Other types of creatures that I know exist are other types of lacontrop and there’s also vampires. It is believed Celestial beings exist too, just Demons and Angels based on the belief of how other races came to be, but there’s not much proof of their existence beyond that.”
Aygul’s words didn’t surprise me much at this point. If “creatures” like Druids and Werewolves actually exist, then I guess it’s not too far fetched if maybe Vampires and other types of beast like humans exist too. I honestly want to argue that this is all impossible, especially being a firm believer in science thanks to what my parents have taught me when they were around. But I’ve seen it with my own eyes, I’ve seen Werewolves with my own eyes...how can I argue the existence of something when I’ve seen it right in front of me.
