Killian’s POV The footsteps came closer. Slow. Careful. Too steady to be wind. I turned, eyes narrowed, every muscle in me tense. Zylia froze too, her head lifting, her hand hovering near the knife at her belt. For a heartbeat, I thought it might be a threat. But then I caught the scent. Wolves. Two of them. They stepped out of the fog. A tall man with messy brown hair, and a woman with sharp eyes and a dagger already drawn. Zylia’s breath hitched. “Raven…?
