Walking around the car, I open the passenger door for Amber. Taking her hand, I lead her up to the door of her parent's house. I've met them before but I'm nervous about how they'll react to their only daughter being pregnant. They'll know we've been f*****g like animals since our wedding and it's the last thing I want them to think about. Well, we've been having s*x for a lot longer than that but they thought their precious little daughter was still a virgin on our wedding day.
Taking my face between both hands, Amber forces me to look into her eyes. She seems so calm about this. "Relax. They'll just be happy to be grandparents."
"Amber, when they find out how far along you are, they'll know you lied. I'll lose all of your father's respect and trust."
"I'm an adult," she says.
